The uniqueness of the Masters of Performing Arts degree in Nātyashāstra is it's focus on the Indian perspective of Performing Arts. It involves the study of orginal Sanskrit text of Natyashaysta and texts in Indian knowlege tradition related to performing Arts. Along with theoretical study, it also has a practical component. The teaching learning shall take place not only through theory lectures but also through drama productions in Indian languages including Sanskrit. Students will be given an opportunity to participate in drama festivals at national and international level. Experts in the field of Music, dance and theatre will guide students through workshops and theatre productions.
