Note:

  • Library Deposit and Caution Money Deposit are refundable after the completion of the programme or In case of Cancellation of Admission
  • In addition to the above fees, a candidate needs to pay towards insurance fees at actuals. (Approx. Rs. 125/-)
  • There will be an increase of 8% in the annual fees for the subsequent years of study for those students who are admitted in the F.Y in Academic Year 2023-24.

Admission Process for First Year 2023-24

Admission will be offered based on the merit and availability of seats taken together. The candidate will be communicated via email about his/her offered seat or waitlisted number.

Important Instructions

  1. Admission will be offered based on the merit, and availability of seats. The candidate will be communicated via email about his/her status of admission whether confirmed or waitlisted.
  2. A candidate who has been offered seat will need to pay the fees ofRs.10,000/- within 5 days of the receipt of the offer letter, to secure the confirmed admission.
  3. Candidate who does not pay the requisite amount as per the deadline will lose his/her claim on the confirmed seat during that phase.
  4. Balance fees to be paid as per the schedule displayed on the website.
  5. The final confirmation of admission is subject to physical verification of the documents. In case of non-availability of valid documents, the confirmation of the admission will result in cancellation.
  6. Cancellation rules are available on the website for reference.
  7. The admission schedule may change under unavoidable circumstances or as per directive / instructions from admitting authorities of Somaiya Vidyavihar University. The revised schedule, if any, will be notified on the website.

Documents required for First Year 2023-24

  • S.S.C. or Equivalent Mark-list
  • HSC or Equivalent Mark list
  • Bachelor Degree final semester Marksheet
  • College Leaving Certificate/Transfer certificate
  • Aadhar Card, Two passport size Photographs of the candidate
  • Music exam board certificates (Gandharva Mahvidyalaya, Prayag Sangeet samiti,etc)

Note : Applicable for only Gujarati Linguistic Minority Candidate

  • Self declaration of the candidate in specified format (“Gujarati Linguistic Minority Community Students Self Declaration” proforma)
  • And
  • Certificate from respective community/ samaj stating that they belong to the Gujarati Speaking Community.
  • Affidavit
    Annexure 1 -Candidate who has completed 18 years of age while making the Affidavit
  • Annexure 2-Candidate who has not completed 18 years of age while making the Affidavit
